It all started out in Uppsala, late September 2009.Four boys in their last year of school, deeply influed by rock music found eachother trough friends in common. With their similar taste of
music a band was created, a band which turned into todays Noctum.
The influences of many great bands
has affected Noctums sound and music, and the bands music is easily relocated over 30 years back in time.
As the band has created a variety of songs and lyrics, using thick and slow riffs alike band such as Black Sabbath, Pentagram and Witchfinder General
alongside faster, more melodic rhythms and riffs as found in music by Deep purple and November they are trying to create interesting tunes for the listeners to follow.
