Skraeckoedlan is a fuzzrock quartet from Norrköping, Sweden. In the ashes from a few other bands, SKRAECKOEDLAN started playing together the early spring of 2009 with the ambition to play groovy rock'n'roll with a touch of doom. Inspired by bands like Kyuss, Weezer, The Sword, Mastodon and Dozer, the writing process began. In the fall of 2009, Skraeckoedlan recorded a five track demo called "Flykten Från Tellus" (The Escape From Earth), which recieved great reviews from around the world. The demo got played on national radio station p3 Rock. Six months later the band recorded an additional three track demo called "Världarnas Fall" (Fall of the Worlds). Things went fast and the band has played frequently around the country of Sweden. In just a short amount of time the band is known to deliver heavy live performances, no matter if it's in a basement or on a bigger stage. Late in 2010 Skraeckoedlan started recording their debut album; a ten track album called "Äppelträdet" (The Apple Tree). Together with their producer Oskar Cedermalm (Truckfighters), the band put themself in the basement of Bombshelter Studios to create some rock. In the beginning of 2011, right in the middle of the recording process, the band signed with Swedish record label Transubstans Records.
